Report on the Employment of Foreign Workers

The report on the employment of foreign workers is a mandatory obligation for all enterprises employing foreign workers in Vietnam. This report must be submitted twice a year on a regular basis: the mid-year report and the year-end report, and must be filed on time:

  • Mid-year report (first 6 months): Submit before July 5 each year
  • Year-end report (last 6 months/full year): Submit before January 5 of the following year

Enterprises must submit the report using Form No. 07/PLI and send it to the Department of Home Affairs (formerly the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) in the locality where the enterprise operates. Late submission or failure to submit will result in administrative penalties in accordance with regulations.
